Export guide
Export from OurFamilyWizard
Follow these steps to download your data from OurFamilyWizard, then upload it to CoParentOS. The whole process takes about 10 minutes for most accounts.

Step-by-step export guide
Log in to OurFamilyWizard
Go to ourfamilywizard.com and sign in with your email and password. Make sure you're using the parent account that has access to all the records you want to export.

Navigate to the Export section
From the main dashboard, click on the Settings icon (gear icon, top right). In the settings menu, find and click 'Data Export' or 'Export Records'. OurFamilyWizard calls this feature 'Download Your Data'.

Select what to export
You'll see options for Messages, Calendar, Expenses, and Journal. Select everything you want to bring to CoParentOS. For the most complete migration, check all four boxes.

Tick Messages, Calendar, Expenses, and Journal to export your full history.
Choose your date range
Select 'All time' or specify a custom date range. We recommend exporting everything — you can choose what to import later in CoParentOS.

Select export format
Choose JSON format if available. JSON gives us the cleanest data. If only PDF is available, that works too — our parser can extract structured data from PDF exports.

Download the export file
Click 'Download' or 'Export'. OFW will package your data into a zip file. Depending on how much data you have, this may take 1–5 minutes. Save the file somewhere you can find it.

Upload to CoParentOS
Return to CoParentOS, go to your Dashboard → Import, select OurFamilyWizard as your platform, and upload the file. We'll parse everything and show you a preview before anything is saved.

Pro tips
- Export everything at once. Our parser is smart enough to separate messages, expenses, calendar, and journal entries. You can choose what to import later.
- Use JSON format if available. It gives us the cleanest data with all fields intact.
- Don't worry about duplicates. CoParentOS detects and skips records you've already imported.
- Keep your export file. It's a good idea to keep a copy of the original export for your records, even after importing.
