Browser-assisted migration

Capture Our Children records from your own browser

Our Children's full export can fail, and its category PDFs may miss attachments. This tool captures the pages you can already access while you are signed in, then gives CoParentOS a reviewable JSON file to import.

Use only on records you are authorised to access

Only run this on your own Our Children account and records you are allowed to access. Review captured files before importing. Download important attachments separately if Our Children does not expose them on the captured page.

CoParentOS Our Children Capture

Drag this button to your bookmarks bar, then click it while viewing an Our Children category page.

Capture Our Children
Show manual bookmarklet codejavascript:(()=>{const s=document.createElement('script');s.src='https://coparentos.com.au/import-tools/ourchildren-capture.js?'+Date.now();document.body.appendChild(s);})();

Add the capture button

Drag the CoParentOS capture button to your bookmarks bar. If mobile Safari/Chrome blocks dragging, copy the bookmarklet text and create a bookmark manually.

Open Our Children

Sign in to Our Children yourself in your normal browser. CoParentOS does not ask for, store or handle your Our Children password.

Capture each category

Open Communications, Calendar, Information Bank, Email Mailbox and Financial Matters one at a time. Click the bookmark for each page you want to capture.

Upload to CoParentOS

Each capture downloads as a JSON file. Upload those files in Dashboard > Import > Our Children for preview and review.

Current v1 behaviour

The capture file preserves the source category, page URL, visible page text, tables, record-like blocks and attachment links. CoParentOS imports these as reviewable records first. Once we have real page samples, we can tighten the parser so rows split cleanly into messages, expenses, calendar events, documents and Child Inbox items.
